Hotspot

Hi everyone welcome back to my blog,

I'm going to share my hotspot with you. In hotspot we have been doing compare and contrast. compare means when someone get two things then he will find some simile things about them.
Contrast is the opposite of compare, contrast means when you get two things then find the difference of them.

This is my one
Compare and Contrast

Contrast:
Despite, However, Yet, Rather, Instead, Otherwise, Even though
Compare:
Likewise, As well as, Either, Similarly, In the same way

Compare and contrast the two styles of footwear.
Start with this sentence and finish the other two.
Add your own compare and contrast sentences.

Introduction:  Today we are looking at a pair of sneakers and a pair of scuffs.

Compare: The sneakers are worn on your feet. Similarly, the scuffs are worn on your feet.
Contrast: Instead of having shoelaces like the sneakers, the scuffs don’t have laces.
Conclusion: I think that the shoes are the better choice because scuffs come off easily.

Collaborative Writing

Hi every one welcome back to my blog,

I'm going to share my collaborative writing with you. We have been learning onomatopoeia. onomatopoeia means a word that describes a sound. Also onomatopoeia is a language feature. A language feature is something special or different made with words. We have been making ideas into sentences that have some onomatopoeia in it.

This is my one

  • The guides in the high-vis jackets telling the kids where they are supposed to stand-
  • The starting gun made a loud crack sound
  • The feet of of the other racers hitting the ground made a lightly thudding sound.
  • I started to sprint like lightning
  • The commentator saying things
  • My heart beating

The guides in the high-vis jackets put me where I was supposed to stand. The loud crack sound of the starting gun made me and the other races start the races. I could hear the feet of the other races making a lightly thudding sound. But not for long because I started sprinting like lightning. I could hear the commentator saying  things. My hearts was beating so fast I started slowing down.
