 HI everyone welcome to my blog,

In class we need to write some cool stuff that we did in school. Some fun things that we did is make hokey pokey, we also lit my hands on fire. I also placed 1st in year 8 sprints. I also liked writing class because we could do free writing. We also made ginger bread men in cooking, We also made sushi. I also liked learning Japanese.

Persuasive Writing

 Hi everyone welcome to my blog,

I'm going to share what we have been doing for hur3. In hur3 we have been doing persuasive writing. The meaning of persuasive writing is a form of writing in which the writer uses words to convince the reader that the writer's opinion is correct. The topic that we writing about is if fire works should be banned.

Here is my persuasive writing.

Why I Think Fireworks Should Be Banned

Do you like fireworks? Of course, you do! But do you know how dangerous they can be?

Firstly they can be very dangerous to people, animals and the environment. If they go wrong they can burn the grass around them and cause fires or even kill or injure people or animals. If they go off track and go into some dead grass it could end up starting a big fire. it can also damage Property.

Secondly, they are annoying when you try to sleep and the noise can also shock animals and sometimes make them hurt themselves. The noise can also damage your hearing and sometimes you can go deaf.  

Lastly, If you mess up you could end up hurting yourself or someone else that is close by. You can burn yourself or could damage your eyesight which could lead to you being blind. It could also make animals go blind due to it being too bright. If your curtains are bad then the light from the fireworks could brighten up your room and keep you awake. 

Because of these reasons i believe that fireworks should be banned

Holiday Blog

 Hi everyone welcome to my blog,

I'm going to share what we have been doing in the holidays. What I have been doing in the holiday is this: One of socials actives, is going to the movies with my dad at the cinema and I also talked to my friends. I also did some exercise at home. I did lots of reading in the holiday. One of the things that I liked doing in the holiday was watching you tube. In the holidays I was feeling a nice and good.

My Favourite Parts: One of my favorite things I did is planing my story I also liked doing the Paralympians doc  I also liked doing the Lockdown Scavenger Hunt
My Next Steps:  To not talk too much with my friends To complete my work on time And to focus on my work

Drama: Maui and the Fish

 Hi everyone welcome to my blog,

I'm going to share what we have been doing for drama. In drama, we have been doing a Freeze frame about Maui and the fish. 

Here is a video of me and my group doing the freeze-frame.

My group is the one that is the second farthest to the right. We did 3 freezes the first one is Maui hiding in the boat the second one is Maui pulling the fish to the Surfers. The last one is the brothers taking some of the fish's meat.

Something that worked well is that you could tell what we were doing with our bodies.

If I got to improve something the next time I perform I would make it so that my group is a little bit less silly.

 Our transitions were pretty fast between freeze frames.

Litmus Paper test

 Hi everyone welcome to my blog.

I'm going to tell you what we have been doing for sci. In sci we have done something called the litmus paper test.

Here is what we learnt

Materials

1. Red litmus paper 

2. Blue litmus paper

3. Sodium hydroxide

4. Hydrochloric acid

5. Pipette

6. 4 test tubes

Steps

1. Rip the litmus paper in half and put half in each test tube

2. Add 3 drops of hydrochloric acid to the blue litmus paper in test tube 1

3. Add 3 drops of hydrochloric acid to the red litmus paper in test tube 2

4. Add 3 drops of sodium hydroxide to the blue litmus paper in testy tube 3

5. Add3 drops of sodium hydroxide to the red litmus paper in test tube 4

Findings:

The blue litmus paper with hydrochloric acid went red

The blue litmus paper with sodium hydroxide went blue

The red litmus paper with hydrochloric acid went red

The red litmus paper with sodium hydroxide went blue
