WALT-Do Summer Learning Journey. I am going to tell you guys things about my hometown. My hometown is Christchurch
Christchurch is a like an oven when it's summer. It is cold when it's winter. It doesn't snow at Christchurch.
Christchurch his a lot of unique places.
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 7 and in 2021 I will be a year 8. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Helpful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Hi Ken,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Susie and I will be commenting on your blogs throughout summer this year. I hope you are having fun doing our Summer Learning Journey (SLJ) activities!
Can you please explain to me what is so unique about Christchurch? I remember visiting the RE:Start container malls once I visited Christchurch. I think it was such a creative idea to create shops out of container malls after the earthquake has affected the land. Do you have any other interesting places in mind?
When I was 10 years old I used to live in Canada. We used to have days when the snow would come up all the way up to our thighs since it has been piling up overnight! It was so amazing to see untouched snow in the morning but it was FREEZING COLD...!!
Do you like snow? If you get a chance to see snow and play in it, what would you like to do? :)
Looking forward to blogging with you Ken!
Talk soon,
Susie
