100% Pure New Zealand

WALT- to use search tools correctly. To put things in our own words. Also how to complete topics like we'll find in the summer learning journey.

We have been doing 3 Activities to learn what types of things we will need to do for the Summer Learning Journey. This are mine -

Activity 1 - Find three interesting activities about New Zealand and write them in your own words

1.NZ made bungy jumping that’s one of the most famous  thing NZ made.

2.There are 4.4 million people in NZ.

3.Someone in NZ is the first to climb Mt. Everest

Activity 2 - My 5 favorite tourist activities to do

  1. Go to the Native Rain forest at Auckland
  2. The beaches in Auckland
  3. Eat some seafood
  4. The Sky Tower
  5. Auckland War Memorial

Activity 3 Design a new flag for New Zealand

The flower symbols how beautiful New Zealanders is. The green symbols the peace of New Zealanders.

  1. Kia ora Ken,

It is so exciting to see that you have been doing some Summer/Winter Learning Journey activities this year. I actually work on that programme (along with Emma) and love it when I see students posting great work on their blogs.

I particularly like the three facts that you shared with us about New Zealand. I had forgotten that bungy jumping was started in New Zealand and that we have helped to make it a world-class event. I have to admit that I am a little but too scared to try bungy jumping myself. What about you? Would you like to try bungy jumping one day?

I hope that you will continue your great work over the summer and join the Summer Learning Journey programme this year. The programme starts on Monday 17 December 2018 and runs through the whole summer holiday break.

Hope to see you online this summer :)

    Cheers,
    Rachel

3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
