WALT ldentify ways to keep our Chromebooks safe

This morning for Cybersmart we looked at ways to keep our Chromebook safe. We then created a poster showing some of the points. Here is my poster. 

Painting a picture in the reader's head

WALT use our sense in our writing to picture in the read's head

Here is an example of my writing can you imagine the scene in your head?



I was slithering around the jungle. It was hot in the jungle then I heard water drops. I climbed on a trunk to have a better view of where the water could be. I finally found water but there was a orange and black, fierce tiger slinking by the water. I thought hard but I could not think of anything to do. I went to look for water again.   

Erase-a-face

WALT  Practice our sketching using shading and shapes by making an erase-a-face.

I was making erasing a face for 2 days. An erase-a-face is you or someone taking a photo of you.  Then you print it and cut some off your face. Then you try to draw back in the part of your face that you cut.

Scratch Cards

WALT make scratch cards to show the cultures in our class

I was working on this for 2 days.   My scratch card shows a Philippine Sun.  I am from the Philippines so this shows my culture.

Goal Setting

w.a.l.t - set goals to help us learn
             identify steps we need to do to meet our goals


This week and last week we have been setting goals for our learning. We had set a goal for reading, Writing, maths and personal. When we set them we had to say what we had to do to to meet our  goals. Once we had finished we could  'bling it up'. My Mother had a meeting with Miss Scott and I to  talk about my goals.

This week we have been practicing our sketching. we have been drawing animals using shapes we can see and also practicing our shading. it is really hard to shapes. here is my first attempt. 

Walt Do self portraits using pop art

Last week we were looking at Andy Warhol pop art. We tried to make one. The hardest is to put the paper against the window to trace our picture 4 times.  Then we colour in the background and colour in  your drawing of yourself.
